Femme in the Kink Scenes: Bottoming & Topping
Kink and rope communities can sometimes feel unwelcoming or challenging for those embracing femme in all its glorious variations. Femme can be an identity, a state of being, or an exploration of a complex facet of the self, and all are valid. Yet, stereotyping, discrimination, and limited educational opportunities often create barriers. These challenges may leave us feeling frustrated, disempowered, or disconnected from our authentic desires. This class is an invitation to break free from those limitations. Join Midori for an open-hearted exploration of the issues femmes face and femme state explorations in kink and rope subcultures. Together, we’ll examine the ways internalized biases can impact our joy and connection and uncover practical, empowering strategies to navigate these challenges. We’ll reimagine femme archetypes beyond stereotypes, focusing on cultivating fulfilling play, authentic expression, and meaningful community engagement. You’ll discover practical tips, somatic strategies for powerful femme bottoming, and confident femme topping—all in a supportive and welcoming space. Expect fun and practical exercises, deep discussions, and the chance to celebrate your unique journey. This class is open to everyone, whether you identify as femme, are exploring femme as a state of being, or are curious about its many facets. Friends, partners, and supporters are also very much welcome. Civility is mandatory, and compassion is expected.
