The Playspace

This year's playspace is the entire lower ballroom level of the hotel including the grand ballroom plus 7 other interconnected ballrooms for a total of 21,000 sq ft. This fully carpeted, and multifacited space will be warm and inviting. Some rooms have high ceilings and chandaleers, while others will have a more intimate feel. Hang out in the social area to mix and mingle or go on an exploration. Open until the wee hours of the morning, you will be able to try out any type of scene or technique. Our BDSM equipment is some of the finest made in the world... and we have plenty of it. If this is your first time, check in at the desk where our playspace monitors will be available to give you a tour, explain how to safely use all the various equipment and answer any of your questions.

Saturday Night Banquet and Burlesque Show

Join us on Saturday night for the Spring Fire Banquet and Show. If last year was any indication the night will be simply fabulous. Cocktails are at 7:30 ... The plated banquet begins at 8pm and the show should get going around 9. Each year we bring in exciting professional entertainment. Two years ago the Wau Wau sisters wowed the audience with their performance. Last year The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus captivated the crowd with their unique kinky blend of magic, acrobatics, sexy burlesque, and sideshow stunts!

This year Dark Odyssey proudly welcomes singer/songwriter Bridget Everett to our Saturday Night Dinner Banquet. Bridget will be entertaining us with her sultry voice, unique songs, and dirty mouth. She¹s coming to D.C. fresh from her critically-acclaimed show in New York, "At Least It's Pink," a first-person recounting of Bridget's misadventures as the local slut in her hometown of Manhattan, Kansas. In this cabaret-style mix of dirty tales, witty original lyrics, and 70s and 80s pop, Bridget recalls colorful childhood experiences with almost embarrassing candor. Bridget's co-writer and co-star Kenny Mellman is well known as Herb to Justin Bond's Kiki of *The Kiki and Herb Show* and the show is directed by Michael Patrick King (Executive Producer of *Sex and The City*). Michael Musto calls Bridget "A large talent. Wynonna Judd meets Melissa Etheridge via the local bar floozy, on a rocket ship out of Twin Peaks." Don't miss this incredible performer!

The Banquet and Show are not part of the weekend package and cost an additional $50 per person. Last year's banquet sold out with over 50% of the registrants attending. Sign up during registration to ensure your seat at the table.

The Saturday Night Extravaganza

After the Banquet and Burlesque show the ballroom will open up for everyone to come party. Our DJ's will keep the dance floor hopping and help us create our own hot night club atmosphere. But what makes this different is that you'll be in the middle of a huge playspace with a thousand of your closest lifestyle and kinky friends.

The Marketplace

Fine Fetish shopping at it's best. Each year we ask some of the best of the alternate lifestyle vendors to bring their goods to Spring Fire for your shopping enjoyment. The Marketplace is a buzz with people each day as they hunt down the perfect outfit, flogger, toy or simply wander about socializing with old friends. "Marketplace Only" tickets will be available for $10.

Cherry Poppin' and Swappin'
Since Dark Odyssey is all about expanding boundaries and trying new things, we want to encourage attendees to have their “cherries popped” and pop the cherries of others. To mark when you’ve done something for the first time --- first flogging, first spanking, first multiple orgasm, first group sex, first public nudity, first bondage, first ritual...the list is endless. All first time attendees get a free cherry pin in their registration packet. Wear it, and when you want to acknowledge a rite of passage, give your pin to the person who got you there, or ask for someone’s pin if you’ve been their “first.” Additional pins are available for those hoping to have a lot of cherries popped!

Truth, Dare or Bare!

Come join hostess Miss Tristan and your fellow attendees at this opening night event-our very own naughty version of Truth or Dare. This is a chance to meet new people, try new things, and have some fun. Spin the wheel and see what fate and the kinky cards have in store for you. Land on Truth, select a kinky Truth Card, and reveal to the audience whatever it asks. Land on Dare, select a kinky Dare Card, and do what it says. You may get to visit one of our Exploratorium stations where you'll be teased or tortured at the hands of an expert. Or you may have to find someone in our human scavenger hunt. Land on Bare, and.show us some skin! Are you brave enough to spin the wheel?

Meet and Greets, Bedtime Stories, and more!

Throughout the weekend we will have plenty small special events to help you break the ice and meet others. On Friday evening we will host a Singles meet greet before Truth, Dare or Bare.
