Making Adjustments in Rope: Find What Feels Good

Rope is for every body. In this class, designed to build skills for those tying AND those in rope, we will learn how to make adjustments to adapt to our partners’ needs AND make our play more comfortable and sustainable. In this hands-on class, we will use multiple exercises to practice making adjustments to find ideal placements and preferences for individual bodies. Come find what feels good in this learning lab class!
To participate in this class:
- The person tying should feel comfortable tying a non-collapsible single-column tie, have an understanding of forward and reverse tension, and know how to tie a basic chest harness.
- The person being tied should have the ability to communicate about body placements and positions that are best for them.
