How to Bullshit a Leg Harness

The ability to perfectly reproduce a thirty step pattern is not necessary to be a good rigger. In this class, you will learn three basic structures to return to when you need to improvise something load-bearing that isn’t just a single column tie. For each structure, we will cover why it works, the pros and cons, and which components are critical versus where you have some room for extra bullshitting.nPrerequisites: People tying should know 1) a single column tie you are comfortable tying at various levels of tension and 2) how to connect rope. You'll also benefit strongly from knowing how to tie an in-line single column/second band, but we'll go over this briefly! People being tied: 1) Comfortable having rope on legs 2) An understanding of how their body works when tied tightly/where their body does not like tight rope 3) comfortable communicating concerns early in "fuck around and find out" situations. This class is extremely self-tie friendly!
