The Bound Calf Binder Class

The standard calf binder pattern can often feel like a double column tie with extra steps, and that didn’t cut it for Lief and Icky. So they developed a calf binder tie with a focus on support and sustainability! For many people, this tie is so sustainable that it can be single pointed in a suspension. In this class Lief and Icky will teach you their calf binder step by step and explain the reasons behind how they developed it. They will also demo how to use the calf binder on the floor and in a partial suspension for people to try at their respective skill levels.

*suspension knowledge will not be taught in the class.*

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Prerequisites: None 

Materials needed:

4-12 hanks of rope- jute rope preferred.

All necessary suspension gear if you plan on suspending. 

Cutting Tool - Make sure you bring a cutting tool for safety. If you do not have a cutting tool, you will not be able to participate in the exercises.
