Baby’s First Hashira
This class is for folx with suspension experience who want to take their play in a new direction. A hashira is a sturdy vertical post used as a rope anchor, offering fresh challenges, new angles, load paths, and creative possibilities beyond single-point or bamboo suspension. This intermediate, hands-on class focuses on building practical skills and confidence- rooted in safety and intention, and adaptable to your style. Whether it’s your first time on a hashira or you’re looking to explore new techniques and get inspired, come learn, experiment, and play. Tying pairs, self-tiers, & auditors welcome. Intermediate+ level.
PRE-REQS: Suspension experience & solid up line management, Suspendible chest and lower body harness, Negotiation skills, Basic anatomy of nerves and pressure points, Body awareness and Excellent communication skills. BRING: full rope kit, carabiners, preferred suspension equipment, straps, cutters.
