Safer Bottoming for Knives
Knifeplay is inherently dangerous – and that’s part of what makes it fun! While tops sometimes use dull tools to enhance safety, it’s important to always treat a knife scene as if the equipment is sharp. This class goes beyond “just hold still” and explores ways to alter your startle reflex, adjusting your pain processing techniques, and understanding how tops might approach a scene so you can improve your negotiation skills for knifeplay. There will be a demo, but for insurance reasons, this class does not offer practice opportunities. Although this class is primarily for bottoms, tops will also find it informative, particularly regarding injury mitigation and management.
