Erotic Worth: Reclaiming Your Desirability When Kink Spaces Don't See You
This workshop is for those who have been overlooked, rejected, or quietly excluded in kink spaces. Together, we name the ache of being unchosen and unpack how fatphobia, femmephobia, desirability politics, and body shame shape who gets seen as erotic and who gets cast as the helper, the educator, or the friend. Drawing on self-compassion research, we move beyond validation into practice. Participants will learn why self-esteem alone cannot hold erotic worth through rejection, and why self-compassion, the practice of treating yourself with care regardless of whether you are chosen, is the mechanism that actually interrupts the cycle. Through journaling, discussion, reflective prompts, and evidence-based tools including somatic witnessing, third-person self-talk for rejection processing, and erotic archiving, participants leave with a named framework and a concrete 30-day practice for rebuilding from the inside out. This is not a class about becoming desirable. It is about returning to yourself, and having something real to hold onto when the ache comes back.
