Susuwatari

Susuwatari has been studying the art of Shibari/Kinbaku (Japanese Rope Bondage) for over 15 years. His passion for the art has led him to many rope-centric conventions, private lessons, and intensive workshops all over the world, including Japan and his birthplace of Taiwan. He has taught locally, regionally and at larger conventions for 8 years and been on Staff of the Dungeon Experience as a rope artist/demonstrator at Exxxotica Adult Expo for the last 7 years. When he isn’t performing his art, he uses his studio to sell his brand of rope, candles and other products; to create content, make art and offering classes so that others can learn his style. In November, 2022, his new dedicated space, The Knotty Spot, officially opened its doors to offer quality and inclusive education with a consent focused play space to his local community. He takes pride in being one of the few Asian American Kink Business owners.

Art of Hishi “Diamond Shaped Ties”- Beginner/Intermediate

This class is a hands-on lesson in the art of the Hishi, also known as the Diamond Pattern. Designed for beginners and intermediate level students, we will teach basic diamond patterns from chest harnesses to full body harnesses, from decorative ties to suspension ready ties, and even self tying harnesses. (Pre-requisite: Knowledge of a single column tie, half hitch and munter hitch)

Introduction to Bondage for Humiliation

Trigger warning: Humiliation/Degradation/Shame. This class will help students learn to combine rope bondage with some fun and humiliating predicaments. We will also cover how to negotiate for humiliation play for both ends of the rope. Tying pairs are asked to bring at least 5 bundles of rope and a cutting tool. Pre-requisite: knowledge of a single column
