Midori (she/her) is an educator, sexologist, and artist. The OG of kink education, she has spent over 30 years reshaping the cultural conversation around BDSM, consent, and connection. Founder of ForteFemme Women's Dominance Intensive, drawing women from across the country to master the art of dominance, presence, and power. She also founded Rope Dojo in 2002, one of the earliest rope and Shibari intensives in North America, and created Consent Dojo. She is the author of The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage, the first English-language Shibari instruction book, and Wild Side Sex: The Book of Kink. She also trains clinicians through the Sexual Health Alliance in kink-aware, shame-reducing care.
