Master Robert - Dark Odyssey

Master Robert continues active teaching and play since 1990s, exploring the fundamentals of power exchange, sensual expression, and connection through demonstrations and hands-on classes. Since 2009, he has moderated the now virtual discussion group, “Ds In The Middle,” drawing national and international attendance. He emphasizes understanding the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of meaningful play through the whip, blade, hand, and most important, the mind. Active participation and questions, from both Tops and Bottoms, are always encouraged.

Florentine Whipping: Double Your Connection!

Let’s learn how to build a meaningful connection by varying the rhythm, location, and intensity…by using two whips for multiple touches!
This fast-paced class for throwers and receivers will include demos and practice (paper targets) using one and two hands while exploring accuracy and sensation control through guided practice and modified crackers.
My partner will discuss receiving; expectations, safety, and negotiating.

Whipology For Tops & Bottoms: How to Buy, Throw, and Receive

The “Scene Whip:” What is it, where to buy it, and how to use it? Let’s discuss each of these topics, especially intent!
Tops: Using discussion, demos, and guided practice, you’ll learn to throw and/or fine-tune your whip.
Bottoms: My experienced partner will share how to safely receive whip energy, communicate, and connect throughout your scene.
