_Redwood

_Redwood cut their teeth around the feet-pounding fires of Primal Arts ten summers ago. Since that first sweaty glimpse into what Kink can be, they’ve fallen in love with Pretending. The kind of Pretending that chisels and scrapes at your outer stone shell, and cracks open your interior landscape; the kind that lets you pay attention to the underworld imagination beneath your toes; the kind that plans bruise shapes; the kind that turns your breaths into mighty winds, and your laughter in whale song, and the kind that turns your own singing voice into a heart paintbrush for our lucky skin.. Join _Redwood this Camp to see what can be taken in by taking out your own imagination, and showing others what wholly unique wants and joys and landscapes you have access to, through the wonderfully embroidered vines of Pretending.

70’s Cult-themed Dance Parade: How To Feel Comfortable Moving Your Body in Public!

In this class we’ll learn ways to enjoy how our bodies move, and in turn, feel comfortable with sharing those movements with others! After we hear about those ways, we’ll learn a quick and simple dance routine to the song “The Wicked and The Blind” by The Dø, and then do the routine on repeat together all around Camp in a big parade! Bring your favorite flowy 70’s cult outfit. If you don’t have anything flowy to wear, we’ll have some flowy things at the class that you can wear!

Consent Through Paying Attention

We’re often taught growing up that when someone appears in our life and makes us feel wonderful, we have to express those feelings in very particular ways. But sometimes we miss out on the feelings themselves because we’re caught up in the yearning to express those feelings to that person.

In this class we’ll learn how to not miss out on our wonderful memories of a person, as well as our lovely and sometimes extravagant imaginings about them, while also not missing out on the immense joy of paying attention to Today’sVersion of them. We’ll talk about what beautiful attention can be paid to a person who makes us feel magical, while also acknowledging the sometimes stark differences between our insides versus how the actual person in front of us would like us to express, on a particular day, for a particular length of time, in particular ways, the many ways they make us feel. And the sheer bliss of not holding someone to our own memories or imaginings about them, but rather paying attention to the theys and the ways that they are today!

Nothing Happens Twice: How To Not Break Your Own Heart in Poly, and in Life!

Nothing can happen twice in this life, but we spend so much time and energy trying in vain to recreate a happening or a feeling or a sensation or a version of a person, and we miss out on the gift of newness that’s right in front of us. In this class we’ll learn how to avoid breaking and betraying our own hearts by practicing the Art Of Noticing, recognizing the differences between what may feel like similar experiences and people in our life. We’ll do this through two back-to-back, identical walking tours of Camp that’ll include the same stops and the same songs played at the stops, noting the differences on the second tour inside ourselves, the folks around us, the happenings, and the details and differences, beautiful or otherwise, that show themselves to us.

Redwood’s Sultry Tell-All Opera Tour of Camp: A Field Guide to the offerings of Fusion

Join Redwood on a guided musical tour around all of Camp Ramblewood while they perform a sultry and salacious one-person kinetic opera. They’ll sing about all the wonder-ful and magical experiences they’ve had around Camp over the last decade, right where each of them happened! There’s so much that’s offered at Camp, and this opera will act as a guide to some of the experiences available here! And, as an added stroke of luck, have you ever wanted to be sexual/kinky with yourself or someone else while you watched a musical performance? Now’s your chance! Play/sex is welcomed on the tour during the performance - high notes, and all! Listen to _Redwood’s voice bounce off the trees, and blend with the bubbling streams as percussion, and the birds as woodwinds, and the breeze through the leaves as chimes, and your own heartbeats as the metronomes. Come with open hearts and open ears!
