PLAYSPACES

You can play anywhere at our 200+ acre camp. But you will love the many well appointed playspaces located all over camp. Each space will put you in a different mood with great music, lighting, decore and of course world class dungeon furniture.

The main playspace is a huge Gymnasium with a stage at one end. We drape the walls with black curtaining and build dividers to create intimate theme areas within the space. Here you will find equipment for almost any type of scene including medical, massage, wax, interrogations, suspension, and all types of bondage and impact play on the horses, crosses and beams.

The Barn is a smaller more intimate space on the other side of camp often taking on a dark vampirish theme repleat with a coffin and alter. The Pavillion is a multi-use space and has great equipment for spur of the moment scenes. There are tons of areas all over camp to play, bring your toybag and let your imagination run free.

THE DIRTY PIG LEATHER BAR

The smell of hides slide against skin, sweat and sighs moaning out into the night... welcome to Dark Odyssey's own Dirty Pig Leather Bar. Hunky leathermen in full formal ware, hot dykes stripped down to their jock straps and chest harnesses, straight couples sneaking in for a walk on the wild side dressed to the nines- this night is for you. Whether you have been attending leather bars since you were a pervy pup, or if this culture is new for you, find your hanky code and brush up on your cruising skills. Left for Top, Right for Bottom... red, yellow, black, grey, robins' egg blue, what does your hanky say? (Check your program guide for hanky codes or visit some of our vendors if you did not bring your hankies with you)

Bring your boots (and bills for tipping) to the bootblacks. Light up a cigar wrapped in your leathers in our tobacco fetish area. Find someone to mark in our sectioned off watersports area. Dance (and fuck) the night away in the Leather Lounge and porn space. Find a hole to fill, a fantasy to fulfill...

But that's not all! During the night there will be two very special events:

THE DIRTY PIG COMPETITION

Every leather bar needs a bar title, and this is ours. This is not a political title, this is a title about pure lust and joy... just like Dark Odyssey itself. Competitors of all genders, orientations, persuasions and perversions are encouraged to compete in the following rounds:

• Leather Look (dress in your sexiest fetishwear and strut your stuff)
• Pop Question (be asked fantastical fun and erotic questions before an audience of your peers and queers)
• Sexy Skin (strip nude, to your jocks, corsets, boots or selectively skimpy best)
• Surprise Fantasies (we provide your music and props, you provide your creativity to show us a fantasy we'll never forget)

Our panel of judges will award points on creativity, passion, attitude, physical presentation and heart... all for the opportunity to say that you were the first Dirty Pig Winner (and prizes)! Silver lame hanky available for the first person to have a hot scene with the 2010 Dirty Pig after they win ;)

RAW Submission – LR Smackdown 2010

Last year’s “House of Pain” wrestling matches inspired us to invest in a brand new 18’x18’ wrestling mat and really do it right. So, after getting in touch with your inner redneck at the Country BBQ, join us for some real entertainment and watch some RAW Submission at LR Smackdown 2010. If you are interested in throwing down see bratboy and we will get you paired off (anyone can participate). The point is to have some fun and see who can dominate the mat!

A TASTE OF THE EXTREME

KIDNAPPING Have you ever wanted to be taken away, used and abused, tied teased and tormented by a complete stranger or a whole gang? Your fantasy may come true! The idea is to allow anyone, top or bottom, to feel the adrenaline rush that comes from the unexpected. To play out those fantasies we're afraid to admit to and do it in a safe and sane way. The Kidnapping committee's job is to match people up with common interests and help fulfill their fantasy. This isn't a dating service, this is fantasy realization. Be careful what you ask for, someone may come, take you away ... and really do it ... REALLY. Kidnapping Rules: There are NO guarantees that your fantasy kidnapping will happen or that things will come out exactly as planned, but we will try. You may request a specific fantasy kidnapper to participate, but again, no guarantees. You may be kidnapped at anytime during the weekend without notice. You may however, specify times and days when you absolutely cannot be kidnapped. (Chores, special class, etc) The Camp Safeword, "RED", applies to all scenes including kidnappings. Don't forget this is supposed to be fun ... and safe ... for everyone. The Kidnapping Committee is run by all volunteers and as such is only as much fun as we all make it. We need both Kidnappers and Kidnappees to make this happen. There is plenty more information in the attendees only area once you've registered for camp.

Sex Toy Tasting Salon

Like wine tasting, but with more orgasms...Pick your pleasure in a salon environment hosted by Klawdya Rothschild, Kali D. Morgan, Danielle dv8 and others where you are invited to try out new toys or toys you already know in new and interesting ways! Take them for a spin , try them on someone else, or have yourself spun by another party attendee or eager party servant. Come to experiment, pick up tips, ask questions or just have some sexy fun! SEX-O-RAMA

Sex-O-Rama is an erotic play space for everyone made up of several cabin rooms. We supply the beds, sheets, electricity, condoms, lube, and gloves, you bring the sex toys, creativity, and heat! Our multiple themed rooms include an ultra lounge/make-out room, The Pit, and the Brothel. Over the course of the weekend we hold several special events in this space and the rest of the time it is open and available. Think of Sex-O-Rama as as your very own short-stay motel, anonymous sex club, or whatever you want it to be! Last year's SOR special events included a "Speakeasy" themed 20's party, the "Strap-on a Thon", a non-bio cock sucking contest, and a pervy PJ party. This year's events are still being planned and as soon as they are finalized we will announce them here.

STATE FAIR

As is Leather Retreat tradition, on Saturday afternoon we take a break from classes and gather together for a picnic lunch, and do some shopping. Vendors from all over bring out their best and host an afternoon shopping spree. We spice up the action with a dunk tank, fair style games and food, "pony" rides, and the SM Games.

Camp Is about being part of the action. We lay the framework but you make it special. We've had attendees volunteer to teach belly dancing, wander about the crowd reciting love sonnets during our "Renn Fair", stilt walkers, spanking booths, human bondage rafts and just about anything else people can dream up. SM Games: Since the inception of Leather Retreat, each year we pit 4-6 teams against each other in LR's version of the Olympics ... the SM Games. The tension is high, the competition is fierce and the games are a riot to watch! Form a team with your friends, cabin mates or club members and show us what you're made of!

Vending: What started out as a way of trading some of your unused leather items for someone else's unused toy, has turned into a giant vending event attended by a bunch of professional vendors. We are still true to our original concept of a swap meet, there are no vendor fees and anyone can set up a table. Read the Vendor Information Page for all the details.

PAMPORIUM

Originally conceived for the very first Leather Retreat, the Pamporium was designed to give campers a place to rest, relax and get refreshed during the weekend. Pamporium patrons are privy to a plethora of pampering options such as - Foot Massage, Facials, Full Body Waxing, Hand and Foot Paraffin Waxing, Henna Tattoos, Boot Blacking, Shaving and of course, Full Body Massage by professionally trained Masseurs and with the exception of Body Massage, it’s all included in your registration fee. Come see what real pampering is all about on Saturday and Sunday! The appointment book for the Pamporium will be at Friday night’s dinner service.

Make your appointments early and get the treatment you really deserve. Our volunteers make The Pamporium the success it is every year. Check off Pamporium for your volunteer duty if you want to partake in this unique activity from the pamporing side.

HEARTSTRINGS – HOOK PULL RITUAL

Heart Strings-Whether through a touch, a hug, or the intimacy of sex, our bodies often aid us as we seek to deepen our relationships and connect hearts and spirits with our loved ones. Join Sacred Mark Sanctuary for a ritual of connection, using our bodies to join our spirits together. We will each be connected to our partner(s) using small temporary surface piercings, bringing us closer to the goals we seek within our relationships.

FLAMINGO TIMES – READ ALL ABOUT IT!

The Flamingo Times is the authoritative source for all late breaking news, analysis and camp gossip. Ardent believers in reporting first and asking questions later, the Flamingo times has the best damn news team at camp! Editor Nayland Blake, champion of the underdog and eschewer of facts, publishes the paper each morning. Look for it at breakfast in the Dining Hall. It’s a great read and if you fold it just right its perfect for fixing a wobbly table.

FIRE PIT

Each evening, after the auctions, the contests, and the parties wind down... over by the lake ... we light a huge bonfire. This is where you can rediscover the lost art of making S'mores (a grahm cracker sandwhich of hershey's chocholate and toasted marshmellows). Some nights we try our hand at african drumming and dance naked around the flames or fireworks suddenly erupt. Other times we simply hang out, drink a beer, and plot out Placido's revenge.
