Strength & Mobility for Rope Bottoming

The best physical preparation for rope is some good ol' fashioned rope… but for many of us, getting tied on a regular basis isn’t always an option. In this hands-on class, we’ll discuss and practice techniques that rope bottoms can use outside the dungeon to maintain (and, if it aligns with your personal goals, enhance) some of our capabilities. We’ll cover such topics as self-massage/soft tissue work, stretching and basic flexibility training, and some straightforward strength exercises that can help bottoms of all levels and abilities feel capable both in and out of rope. Please bring…Body awareness to participate in ways that are right for your body. Comfortable attire (or lack thereof) that allows you to move freely. If desired, a yoga mat or blanket.
