I Don't Think That's What I Thought I Said - Negotiations and Expectations

Negotiating scenes seems like a fairly straightforward process. We rattle off our hard limits and ask about medications and check off the list of can-dos before heading off with our toys. So why is it that sometimes, despite being exactly what we negotiated, our scenes aren't really what we were thinking? To address this, we will look at the difference between negotiations and expectations and work on developing the language and tools to discuss both.
