Deborah Rose

Deborah Rose is a lifelong Philly femme alt sex organizer and activist. She started putting together play parties in warehouses in the late 2000s, and has since organized countless educational, play and social events. She is also one of the organizers of RambleGRUE, the world's largest BDSM-focused unconference. Together with a group of dedicated community members, she has spent the last year building an alt-sex community space in her hometown, Philly Music Hall. The Hall aims to provide marginalized sexual communities with the resources and access they need to build stronger and safer spaces. Since it opened in early 2017, it has been providing as many groups as possible a home base to bring their dream ideas to fruition. Aside from her work as an activist, Deborah Rose is an all around nerd and would like to be reading a book at most times. She also loves to use physics, gravity and rope to make humans into interesting shapes.
